Current collection of my 500 word flash-fiction stories to meet the challenge of the Weekend Write-in prompt word in 2018.
[Proud to say I haven’t missed too many weeks this year, despite a few challenging situations]
Maybe just a couple of my flasher titles’ names to intrigue you? And they’re linked too! Just click on them and see.
‘All You Need is Love’ [now there’s a love story with a difference]
‘Smoke Gets in Your Eyes’ [ooowha, sniff… that’s a sad one]
‘Somewhat Sheetless’ [now THAT’s the way we keep ’em, down on the farm!]
‘Out of the Frypan’ [the stuff legends are made of!], and just for laughs –
‘That’s the Spirit’ [well-ll, the prompt was ‘fun’ and this is what happened at my place – uhrr, in my head, actually]
Do you love the cover? Had it for all of this year and still love it as much as when I first saw it. I get my pics from freebie sites [that is, cost-free and free of copyright restrictions] – I have about 6 of these sites and go through them and suddenly something catches my fancy. Then comes the best part, when I go to work on them with my photo editing program and play with choice of font and size and placement of heading.
Here’s a favourite –
To tell the truth, this is not one of the stories… yet! I have a small child’s inspirational rhyme from the waiting room of a hospital behind this one. Its day will come.
And that is why you get a cover pic with each and every ‘flasher’. Just love ’em.
